My Jeep used to suprise people all of the time too, but that never changed the fact that it was a slow high 15 second POS.

Dude their made with the same materials as Cavaliers and their both Jbodies. They both have the same 2 engines,electronics and everything. The only thing that is different is the body of course. No one is saying they aren't economical, if you came on here asking which car would get better gas milage then your post might have gotten less negative comments. However you asked about racing, racing with a car that should NEVER be raced. It's people like you that make it harder for people like me to race. Every *** with a bone stock 40 mpg piece of shit shows up at the races and now instead of 15-30 quality cars you have 300-400 pieces of shit blocking the road, parking after the start line, and making a 25 car long line to race with something like a CRV or a Scion. Power and speed are out there, and a real ENTHUSIAST knows that a Cavalier just doesn't have either.

I just can't win can I? I'm not saying i'm gonna keep this thing till the year 2,045 or something. I'm tight on $$ right now because of a new house and a crap load or other bills so this is what i'm stuck with. Whats wrong with trying? Yeah i swallowed my foot in a couple posts i'll admit that man but is there a crime for trying on a tight budget? Thousands of Americans are in my same boat and its not the end of the fuckin world dude. When my car is payed off in 2 years or so i'm trading her in and upgrading. In 2 years i'll be able to afford a good used WRX or maybe an SRT-4 or something or like a GTP or SSEI....something thats already quick somewhat and i have a start to modding it cuz it already has forced induction. This Cavalier is all i have right now and i know its not the best car in the world and its built like crap cuz well ummm for one its a Chevy product and its a Cavalier and like i said i'm well aware of that lol. I'm not gonna keep this thing for too long and i never planned on it. My first car was a 79 Capri with a 5.0 swap which i sold cuz i got caught streetracing with it and got raped by court. My last vehicle b4 my Z24 was a 4.3L S-10 which ran 14.8's N/A and it was an auto. I got tired of trucks and sold it now i have this Cavalier. I just love trying to make small motors stronger. Just like i said above..... Theres nothing wrong with trying with what you got for the time being right? I don't think there is.
