New mass air flow sensor, throttle body, throttle position sensor, radiator hoses, platinum spark plugs and new wires, O2 sensor, catalytic converter, battery, engine coolant temperature sensor, wiring harness, headlight bulbs euro taillights, headliner, shifter knob, tires and interior light bulbs so far. Installed everything myself.

Still needs some things, its a work in progress...

As for me, I'm just happy to have my health, state of mind and skills to keep my car service up to date and make my car go faster.


This is my first Mitsubishi, but I have loads of know how about lots of makes and models of cars and how to test, troubleshoot, repair and install most parts factory and aftermarket. Just ask and I will unload my wealth of knowledge about cars and car parts.

Im about to get my first car, I have about 10 grands to spend. I need to decide and my two options (One very different from another) are:
- A used Honda Civic 5th Gen or
- New Volkswagen Gol (Its made in Brazil and distributed in Latin America, its not as good as a Golf)
I know the Civic is a better car (Japanese Import) , with decent power and great looks but I can't decide because as it is an old car I cant afford big reparations. On the other hand, the Gol has less power, its smaller but it is new and I know I'll have less or no problems than with an old car. I'm also aware that Honda has a generally good endurance but 1990's cars have at least 100.000+ Km's.
