Well, I've talked about the car, posted a few small thumbnails of it at Lapeer Dragway in Lapeer, MI (30-min's towing trip from Flint), so here's some from Island Dragway, about a hour and a half towing trip from my parent's farm (where I'm living now) in Hopewell Twp, NJ.

The mustang went way red, plus he had several times the amount of money I had invested in my car in his. He was bragging about his car (80 grand) and talking junk about mine - $20 gamblers race.

Well, I think the light shows who walked out with the $20. I was tempted to tell him that mine cost less than a grand. Either way, we went again, and this time he waited to see the green light (.688) while I went oh-fifteen on his ass. Young kid (maybe 25) in all fancy clothes and stuff but apparently no skill racing and quite happy to hand twenty dollar bills over to a 20-year old redneck sodbuster like myself.

It's been ailing lately. A stuck float valve, choke wires were all corroded, and the jets are leaking to boot. It ran 14.3's and 14.2's nonetheless, should be in the 12's range somewhere.

She's not really hooking that well... just that I have the wrong stall. Should be a 3k stall or so, but it's just a factory 1600 converter, so I'm way out of my powerband. Also shifting way short... working on those issues now.
