I think the problem is too many ricers. Don't get me wrong, some show cars are friggin' clean (I saw one ... can't remember where ... CRX 1986 w/ EG6 front end conversion, custom work to put in some custom tails, and a b16a motor to top it all off. And it looked really good - like the car was designed like that).

Those are the cars I respect - where it's clean, not looking like some tool decided to pick random parts and do a half-ass job of sticking them all together.

There are a few Pep Boy SPL out there, but also some clean rides.
Pics will be up after I take them;)

I helped out with roll in for my club.
