busy busy busy with work. Trying to get stuff taken care of cuase the end of the month is the USGP (United States Grand Prix) Forumla 1 race at Indy. I go every year. (July 2nd).

There is also the Brumos Porsche 250 (Rolex Serires Night Race) coming up at the end of the month (June 29th).

Those are the 2 races coming up (very close together) that I am going to.

By the end of the year I will have had a pretty good race season!

GrandAm Cup Season Opener (Daytona, FL)
Rolex 24hr (Daytona, FL)
American LeMans 12hr (Seabring, FL)
Miami GP (Homestead, FL)
NHRA Sony eXplode (Morroso, FL)
SCCA Speed World Challenge and IRL St.Pete GP (Tampa, FL)
NOPI Nationals (Atlanta, GA)
Brumos Porsche 250 (Daytona, FL)
USGP Formula1 (Indy, IN)
NHRA (again) (Moroso, FL)

As well as almost monthly AutoX events, its the same thing as last year and the year before, except this year I did the 2 NHRA events and last year was the first year for St.Pete GP......i love MOTORSPORTS!!! lol

Those are some great events to cover. Do you have to travel far to get to those?

Those are some great events to cover. Do you have to travel far to get to those?

I live in orlando, so for most of them its not a far drive at all.

Morroso is about 2.5 hrs
Tampa is about 1.5 hrs
Daytona is about 1 hr
Seabring is about 3 hrs
Homestead/Miami is about 3.5/4 hrs
Atlanta is about 6 hrs
Indy is about 10 hrs

Other than atlanta and indy, most of the races are just a short drive away....part of the reason I go to them so often.

It can get expensive with tickets, padock passes, parking (at some events), gas money, food, ect, ect.

Most races I spend about 150 a person (total) for the whole race weekend, thats travel, tickets, food, ect. So its not bad at all.

The events like F1 I spend closer to 400 a person, part of it is the longer travel, part of it is that I stay longer and do more stuff...and part of it is just the cost of tickets.

I dont mind spending the money, I love racing.

I can usually get press passes for those type of events, if you'd be interested in shooting for my site sromagazine.com?

definetly. I get the press stuff for drag events cause my work has pro-rwd cars.....but its been harder for road racing stuff.....

Another shop we work with races in SCCA Speed World Challenge so I can get stuff for those races. I would love to get press passes to get pics at the rolex races or some of the IRL races or something.

Even if I can get press passes to the events, I would be happy to share my pictures of event coverage on your site. Most of them just go in my private collection so it would be no problem to share them.

Let me know.
