I have a car that is currently non-opped' and was wondering what all I have to do to get it registered? Is it just insurance, smog, and go to the DMV w/ the non-op paper?
Thanks.

If your car is subject to smog checks, then it has to pass smog and has to have insurance. Make sure you don't park it on the street while it's non-oped. It can get towed.
Check with the DMV on this, but if the car is registered in your name, then you should just be able to go in with the above information and get it re-registered by paying the current years' fees. If it's not in your name, then you have to do the ownership paperwork with the previous owner.

Yeah, it's easy now... wait till you see the line at the DMV. In case you guys don't know the secret, here it is...
Some DMV offices are open until late on one weekday per week. Go in after 5 on that day and I bet you'll find that the lines are a lot shorter.
