This has been bugging me for the last few days. When we left ringwood saturday, do you know that stop light on Trade Zone and Ringwood thats being installed where the stop sign is? It still has tape over it and bags on the lights. Everyone was stopping on Trade Zone like it was a stop light when broken or its flashing red. I told karla, since I was driving her car that they didnt have to. Well i just went through and a cop was on ringwood waiting to turn onto trade zone to follow the crowd. As soon as i went, the cop hit the siren and lights and got right behind me, but then turned em off. We thought the cop was gonna pull me over as soon as we got on Montegue, but we changed lanes and got passed up by the cop. Did the siren and lights have anything to ddo with me Hoyt? I figure the cop just wanted to get into the crowd, but i'm not sure.

I haven't seen that intersection in a few months, but there has been a stop sign at that intersection for years for traffic going from northbound Ringwood onto Trade Zone. I would guess that the sign is still there since apparently the lights aren't up and running yet. If that's the case, then it seems kind of obvious that you'd have to stop at that intersection.
Why did the officer hit his/her lights? I dunno. Could have been one of a dozen different reasons. My guess was he/she needed to get to another call and felt that other call was important enough to ask others to get out of the way.
Drive safe,

Rotary2Rotary: That reminds me of the movie "Judge Dreadd",
specifically the quote, "I YAM Da Law!!!" Kinda freaky,
but California and all it's laws are starting to feel like
a police state. I guess in other states, even though
there aren't as many BS laws, the cops still abuse their
powers. As long as theres no old ladies in cizitens groups
complaining, I guess why not? haha.
