How do you install AEM cold air intake for 94 integra GSR?(long ram intake)
Do I need to take off the front bumper to install the intake.

it should come with directions but here's the low-down:

1)disconnect the negative wire on your battery
2)remove the entire airbox assembly (easy to do because you can see all the screws)
3)remove the the proper hoses and O2 sensor (forgot which hoses, one is the coolant but don't do that until the last minute because when you unplug it, it leaks)
4)jack-up your car and remove the passenger-side splashguard and part of the passenger-side wheelwell. this allows access to the airbox resonator
5)remove the airbox resonator (again, you can see all the screws so it's easy)
6)install the intake tubing and then install the filter from underneath the vehicle
7)remove all the hoses and reinstall them using the hoses provided by AEM
8)put in the O2 sensor (make sure not to break it and before reinstalling it, wipe it with a clean cloth to remove any dirt, etc.)
9)fill coolant if necessary
10)reinstall the negative wire on the battery
11)start the car and make sure no warning lights come on, thre's no weird noises, etc.
12)drive the car for a while, let it cool, and check the coolant level. Fill to the proper level, if necessary, and you're done.

Installation time for me and my bro - 1.5 hours on a '97 Civic EX

Installed the intake, but one thing it doesnt produce a lot of noise? Also I do have an exhaust probably the exhaust is covering the intake,
My next mission is to put Headers on, it seems harder but I want to give it a try. So if You can help once again, it would be cool.

For headers, get a torque wrench. You do not want to be over wrenching the primary manifold to tightly as to break the bolt. It's also going to take a butt load of time if its your first time installing headers. You also need to lift the car a bit so you can get under the ground. It is just a bolt on, but it can cause a bit of grief. Oh, use anti sieze when putting in the new headers.

yeah, if you got an intake and exhaust, your exhaust is probably covering up the sound of the intake. that's the way it is on my car, too. the only time i can hear it is when i'm warming up the car. but during normal driving or sitting at stoplights, all i can hear is my exhaust. so yeah, it's coo. . .

oh, but if you just had an intake and nothing else, then you'd be able to hear the intake. makes a growl at WOT but during normal driving it's not audible. just to let ya know
