oil filters are oil filters. Ive seen 10 second street cars run basic Motorcrafts.
yes, but lots of racing cars change their oil after a few races, so it doesn't matter too much.
I'd bet than k&n is probably a common filter with a k&n logo on it.
I personally use AC delco. I've seen some brands of filters having their anti drainback valve fail, but I've always been happy with these

Hell alot of them give them a full rebuild after a few races :) Or or like funny cars, rebuild it after every run :)

Even though I love GM products, I would stay away from the AC delco oil filters. I put one my girlfriends Buick GS and no mater what I did, it leaked. I switched to a mobile 1 filter and it works fine. That filter must have just been defective.
