Accord SE vs. Mustang GT

woohooooooo little 4 door, 4 cylinder honda do good today. i beat a mustnag GT on my bald tires with metal hanging out of the sides of them through my second gear, then he slowly pulled on me and beat me by a few links. the GT was a 5 speed....

yeah i only race to second gear also and call it a win im usualy going about 45 then. I mean quater mile no way im a street racer haha

[2001 Accord V-6]

You lost, I barely edged out my co-worker's 99 Solara SE V-6 Manual one of out 8 tries. I'm stock and so was she. She can drive that thing like a true pro. I only beat her because I launched better and faster at the start. There's no way you could beat a Mustang GT unless it was a 93-98 GT (215 HP version) and you had some bolt-on, nos or some type of forced induction. On top of that, you have a Auto tranny. Stop lying to yourself, it's bad for your health. ;) If you can't beat my stock 01 V-6 Accord by a good mark, then you are just lying to yourself.

i did not beat the mustang. i admint that.... i beat him for a little while, if you will read my origional post. and yes i can beat any stock accord. the mustang was a 5 speed, he got an awful launch. he was just surprized that a 4 cylinder could hang that long. he got a bad launch and it took him a while to catch me. thats it... i am not lying to myself.... i am comfortable in the fact my 4 cylinder 4 door auto is not a speedster.... i know its slow. but like i tell everyone, the car is paid for and i am making the most of what i got...... (until i save enough for a 94 GSX). if you have any more questions, just ask.... i am just trying to keep this from flaming out and i would like to keep my young and fragile rep on these boards.....
