when people pull up next to me in there little civics or there ford escort gt's they like to think they can beat me.like with this ford escort gt it was a real piece of shit. went to pass him and i wasnt on the gas all the way so iget up next to him and i see hes tryin to challenge me. so i know im nnot going to get beat by a ford. so i punch it and take off. hitttin turns in the left lane he was no match for me i was pullin 120 by time he hit 70. it was great. what a rush!

Good! I have always loved the paseo, but it gets NO respect and there is almost NO aftermarket for it. Oh well, I hope other aftermarket companies come around for it. Its small and nible, so it has a lot of potential. I actually like the first generation more than the second though.

i have the first gen and i love because hondas think they can beat me. i dont have abody kit or any thing on it so they think i just have a loud exaust but when i take off they left still at the line. the paseo has more tourqe and a little more horsepower, and lighter so it accelerates a little better. i mean come on i beat a camaro iroc z it had nothin on me. its so funny becaus e my car looks like a regular car.

Even with those mods it can't be all that fast. Not to flame but its a Paseo. You have any 1/4 mile times. Since you didn't list NOS as one of your mods I know this car can't run much better than a mid 16.

BTW a turbo starlet engine from Japan...is a straight bolt on with now modifications on the eng mounts. i believe its the 4e-fte..i think. not sure. check out the

This makes me wanna recall the time when I owned a Yugo as a second car. This thing was so light I could damn near pick it up off the ground by myself (ON THE ENGINE SIDE!!!!) It was a 4 speed and ran pretty good... I always thought it would be cool to take the engine out and see if I could source some type of parts for it that were stronger and could take more abuse and put like a 100 shot of nitrous on it!!! Granted it wouldn't hook up but it would be funny to see a Yugo roastin' the tires for 250 feet!!!!!!

Integras are nice. Ive seen some do some impressive runs but my stock MX-3 4cyl whooped a modded integra by like 2 car leangths. I like Hondas and Acuras also but I love my car :D I want to see more Paseo's racing that will be nice.

OK, back the truck up here a bit! I am hating on NOBODY! I was pointing out the simple fact that in the end the civic won. I was not doing this to make civic's look like the greatest things ever, nor was I saying that his car is slow! In fact, I guarantee he would beat my civic! I have zero performance mods done to my car, and have never claimed it to be fast! If I wanted a fast car I would have bought one. Personally, I'm currently makeing my car look real clean... not rice. I doubt I will ever make it fast. There will always be faster civic then his paseo, and there will always be a faster paseo then that civic!

I agree with you that there are way too many modded civics, In fact me and my boy were just talking about this before I came home, but you know what? I bought one anyway because it was a good deal in perfect shape, half done up, with low miles.. kilometers for me actually. Beleive me, you don't have to be loaded to own a honda... in fact I think you barely half to have a job :)

Anyway, buy whatever car you like! Don't listen to other peoples preferences and go with what you want to drive! If you like it, then who gives a fuck what the other guy thinks. Oh, and about you parents tercel, I drove my friends and loved it! smoother shifting then my civic and felt a bit faster... so enjoy what you have!
