cvc code book ??? anyway of gettin one to own

there are so many codes on the california vehicle code book that i'm wonderin if they sell it or have it around so i can take a look at our laws that govern the street??? And show some officers to prove them wrong or right

3 places you can go to get the CVC:

1) Go to a DMV office and pay (I think) $1 for a book.
2) Go to a bookstore and buy either the full version (about $30) or a "quick reference guide" (about $15).
3) See the CVC online at the link listed at the bottom of this post.
