92 Si Lude (4cyl) vs. 2nd Gen Grnd Chrke (8cyl)

Tonight I was coming back down Redwood and I hit a red light and this Grand Cherokee (dunno it was V8 at this point) with some lettermen jacket wearing kids in it( big kids, ie football, ie seniors, ie i am a junior at a diff school) and since I am in an automatic completely unmodified that when I floor it it don't look like I am totally ripping off or anything, so I do cause they was looking at me weird. Anyways I guess they hit it to cause I heard em squeal a bit..so did i...(there's auto too from sound of it, and do they come in manual?) newayz they're front bumper is at the back of my right side door and fading...it was funny I hit about 70 and slowed down (45mph zone) and so did they...then they hit it to get by me and I just play it cool and stay back and watch them think they won or something..newayz why do SUV's gotta mess wit us LIGHTER, SMALLER (4cyl), FASTER, LOL, cars? beats me but for an auto i rly kicked his ass...lol...

I am thinking of buying an SUV that is pretty fast. It is an old Ram Charger that has a 496 stroker in it. It has Flowmasters, too. The guy only wants like $13,000.

Grand Cherokees are pretty quick for an SUV. Also, the
guy had a buncha other people in the car, so you should
by all means beat him :)

Also, it's not like SUV guys are out to race imports....
Maybe those guys just wanted to have some fun. I'd had
a slowass Volkswagen Thing rev up on me once, it was pretty
fun :)

I have to agree that most SUVs out there are slow compared to most cars out there, but they're SUVs and not any type of street sports car. But hey, I wouldn't underestimate some SUVs. I've taken my SUV to Milpitas/Fremont a few nights and beat some Hondas who are in disbelief that an SUV went faster than them.
