View Full Version : Me vs new Vette vs NSX on Lawrence
Today I pulled up to a light with a blazer s-10 in front of me. To the left of the blazer was a dark blue new Vette, and to the left of him (and behind a car) was a red NSX. The light turned green and the Vette kinda just rev-n-rolled. The NSX managed to get around the car in front of him, as I was kinda stuck. The Vette and NSX just take off. They were kinda Neck n neck. I come up from behind as they part to either side of Lawrence and I shoot through the middle. It was like organized driving, it should be an Olympic sport. N E Wayz there was no winner, but I would have smoked both of em if we lined up (yeah right LOL).

Yeah the c-5 is truly an amazing car if you ever get a chance to drive on do it. I got to test drive my buddies 2000 6 speed with the heads up display, just like being in a jet you have your rpms and speed on the windshield and a couple other things, anyways the vett is truly a factory performance car pulls hard threw the rpms handels well, like a little go kart truly an amazing car

The c5's are alright.. my friend owns one.. not too shabby... I remember what vette really impressed me was the Z06 when my friends and I rode up to thunderhill for open track.. I got to ride in it and that thing is very very impressive.. to say the very least :)

I have never had the pleasure of driving such beasts...maybe I should go to the dealer and just test drive them all...that would be cool!
I've driven my daddies C5 a couple of times and it's cool, especially with traction control off. I don't know how many times I've spun that thing. Gotta love high horse real wheel drive.

Man, the guys that sell cars suck ass! When my mom bought her new 2000 Z71 with a...i wanna say a 5.2? I'm not too sure, it's the one equivilent to a 327, we said that if they took off a grand or two or three that we'd buy a new c5 vette too. Well those bitchs said "we have to sell them at sticker price, we can't take anything off." Soooo close to having a c5!

Aaah yes..imagine switching from a Honda Civic to a Mustang Gt...now imagine me spinning, slipping and sliding the first day I got it and the trouble I got myself into =). Its definately a totally different environment with a high HP rear wheeler.

the Z06 only has ten more hp @185 from it's LS6
it's hard to tell if it's worth the extra money because
the new C5's have 175hp due to a new intake manifold
and a few other new parts
it does have better cornering but that leaves a less
smooth ride for normal driving...
also they have taken some weight off of it
the C5 is allready an amazing car and i'm sure
you can get 10 more horsepower out of it..

I think you mean 385hp. You also have to remember that the Z06 has beter suspension.
