the lone nissan driver takes a riced out accord (not once, but twice)

i'm driving home from, once again, my favorite import shop (hah, more like the only import shop) because i was getting prices on headers and intake. anyhoo, i'm heading through a pretty deserted area (just one gas station and farm houses) when i see a honda accord pull out of the gas station in front of me. he had a body kit, exhaust, wheels, and i don't know what else (couldn't see at the time). anyways, the light ahead turns red and there was no one around. he was going straight and the road was a 2 laner so i thought "why not?" i get up to the light and rev, hoping he'll take the bait. wha-lah, he does. he's revving, i hear no blow-off valve so i'm safe so far, it's definately a 4 cylinder so i don't have a v6 to worry about (did they have v6's in the body-style before the newest one?), so i'm thinking i may have a chance. anyways, i rev to 2800 (se-r's have torque) and await the green light. flash! there it is. i dump the clutch and jeeze i got a great start. jumping out on the accord who just got wheelspin, then he let off the gas and basically bogged it. by then i probably had 5 car lenghts on him, and i just walked away. i saw no lights so i just kept going till i hit the next light which was red, this time he pulls up to me and revs, i thought "hey, 2 kills sounds fine to me" so i revved back. 2800rpm, flash, green! i dump and get a great start again, he gets a pretty good start with a little wheelspin and i'm out ahead by about 1 carlength, i just kept walking away till i had probably 7 or 8 carlenghts and he flashed me. the road was deserted so i just pulled over right there, he asked what i had done to my car and i said a drop in air filter, and a exhaust system. he looked at me puzzled, i told him i had a sentra se-r and he was still puzzled, so i just asked what he had done. ends up he had intake, exhaust, and a bigger throttle body. the body kit was a big mouth, and he had 18 inch chrome enkei somethings. anyways, when i got done talking i left, he went the other way so i didn't get to kill him 3 times. :(

how emberassing. we are not all dumb. v6's have the same body as the 4 cylinders, just dif wheels and trim levels.

nah it was a 5 speed. he got a nice 2nd gear chirp, by then i was gone though. :p

seriously, people just don't know how capable a sentra se-r is, let alone what the heck a sentra se-r is as a car. mine is 10 years old and i'm smoking cars that just came off the showroom floor with just a drop in air filter and a new exhaust system made in a local shop. i keep right up with integra gs-r's and civic si's are what i like to call a "diet" for my baby. ;)

anyways, i saw the guy again today my bank i do service with (the good kind). he said the car is a 1997, he has more stupid interior color inserts than i thought were made. lol

most of my friends drive auto accords.... they can chirp going into second. also, my auto 90 accord EX was auto, and it would get almost a full rotation going into second
