i got a 95 Altima GXE.

so here si teh question, i want to lower it like 2-3 inches...

what is the differnece between coil overs/springs and Ground effects/controls?

also are the "sprint Springs" any good? can get them for $99 for a set of four...

Live in San Jose so if anyone can hook me up or tell me other things feel free...

ps- one more thing, if i lower it just 2 inches, can i ride on my stock shocks for a while until i change it all?

I fit were me I would go with the adjustable coilovers so you can raise and lower at will.plus it will save you money in the long run.You also can ride with your stock shocks butyou will have a bumpy ride until you change them.I would wait till you had enough money to get both so you wont have to hassle with the instalation.

i have the Sprint springs for a '97 Civic. i got them from importparts.com they're pretty good. i just got them for looks, not so much handling. if you really want springs for corning, go with H&R. H&R is expensive but is race-proven. i used to have them on my Accord and they made a world of difference. really stiff though.

as for coilovers, get Ground Control or Skunk2 for the sleeve-type. they run like $300 but i heard they're good. plus, you can adjust them whenever you can't take your car scraping the ground anymore.
