I went to the strip for the first time today, and got my ass handed to me in the first round of bracket racing even though I had a .539 light... I need to know how you guys would dial my car in...

I ran 10.795 1st run, 10.844 2nd run, and 10.784 3rd run... How would you have dialed that in?

I dialed in 10.76, and lost by .02 seconds... It was my first time out there and I thought that I was going to go faster.

I'll get them next week. They have bracket racing every saturday night for only $15... 3 trial runs and then they start brackets. Its so much more fun than street racing. $300 goes to the winner.

I got them back tonight...

Trials:
10.833 @ 57.99
10.952 @ 57.38
10.908 @ 57.49
10.906 @ 57.82

So I dialed in at 10.9, and got the bye because I had a .501 r/t my first run..

Bye run
10.838 @ 57.82

Lowered my dial-in to 10.8

10.855 @ 57.76
10.907 @ 53.56 to win

I let off on my last run at the first trap at the end becuase I saw the other guy was way behind me...

When i first saw the times i was thinkin "10s, pretty quick for a first time at the track, then i saw the speeds and i was all confused for a sec, then i realized you were running eighths!lol

BTW: i woulda dialed in a 10.79 the first time. I was pissed off cause last time i was runnin brackets i dialed in a 19.24 (in the truck, in the mountains, in 35 degree weather) but my truck sat in the cold for an hour before i ran and i didnt think to change it to my cold run time and i ended up running a 19.3x and i lost to a ford lightning by .015 sec! i thought i had him! I was so pissed at my stupidity.
