Damn those people there treat Imports like shit! WTF?
Not to mention they wasted me a full tank of gas plus 3 hours of waiting time for nothing. That's fucking bullshit... And they didn't even give us a fucking refund, only one of those fucking coupon that have next week's date stamped on it so it's only good for next week. Fuck them, I'm heading to sears point if I can.

I still don't get it. Why the hell did everyone only get one run, that just doesn't sound right. What the hell is Sac doing to piss everyone off. Are they discriminating against imports?

too bad Sears Point only does drag racing on wednesdays and it's that bracket shit. Plus, Sac Raceway is 15 minutes from my house :p

One run? that's not right unless you didn't make it for the Free run..cause ususally they give you a free run to let you kinda know what your car do in a 1/4 mile so you can dial in..so every1 atleast get 2 run more...but if you get eleminated on then u get 2 runs.

they couldn't get the staging lights working and had to cancel the race. they gave everyone a raincheck and then let them run down the track once, but no timeslips

Thats why u should have come saturady too. I got 4 runs in on saturday and 2 on sunday cuz I broke out at 15.909 with a dial in of 16.1 in the first round of eliminations.

Right on! Kewl i am glad all the import car drivers are getting pissed at Sac.You clutter the frikkin staging lanes and for what a 15-16 sec pass if you are lucky?Sounds like a waste of time to me.Go back to Sears.
And o yeah they dont like the majority of import drivers.
But............There are SOME respectable ones out there that do this and are serious racers.

What about all the POS V6 Mustangs and Camaro's that clutter up the staging lights?? Why aren't they being told to piss off too??? :D
We have similar problems here in Sydney on the street with import discrimination and it's called boganism, the hate of V8 owners to a superior product!! It's bad at times, especially when the V8 loving commentator at the dragstrip here can't even distinguish a Civic from a Ford Laser (rebadged Mazda 323), but the 4s and rotors are taking over now that's for sure!! You'll see 2-3 V8s in the 9s or 10s throughout the night.......you'll see 10-15 4s and rotors in that time zone performing consistently in that range. :)
To us, it doesn't matter if it pulls 8s or 18s, it's welcome if you're there to have fun. We get over 100-150 cars every 2nd or 3rd Wednesday (too bad last week was washed out for us!! ;[;[;[;[ The 5th June will be packed!! ;[) and we get everything from 7sec V8s and 8sec rotors to stock 16sec Civic Si's racing on a constant basis!! And we get even slower cars like the Ford/GM 6cylinder and GM 253ci V8 POS's (favourite whipping boys for slow 4cylinders!! ;)).....so I feel for you import lovers over there being discriminated against.
I know that on any track in Australia, you guys would be welcomed with open arms because over here, rotaries and 4s are well liked and respected and have been ever since Jeff Watson raced an 8.1sec 1/4 running FJ20DET powered Austin Healey Sprite in the early 1990s and was beating 6sec pro-modifieds in bracket racing constantly!! Became national runner-up in that class. So, when you're in Australia, get yourself out to a dragstrip cause you'll see some weapons that don't need 8 cylinders to move!! :D C yas!! Mafs!!

i don't like sears point personally because you have to run with a full cat back exhaust and sac you can run open header. i only have one bad experience which was during test and tune on friday nights, but at CMI i had a great time.

I wont be racing at Sears point until the NHRA sport compact car series is on... but sac raceway is my favorite, the repaved and painted the track and the line ups, and the pit... also the staff is wonderful there, very informative and patient. the only thing that sucks ass is sacramento's fucking 100 degree summers...

Im out at Sears Point alot now....not that bad of a place...but if you don't win...you don't get many runs in. I made it to the Semi finals on 6/5 at sears and had 6 runs that night...pretty good i think...But i just don't like how Sears Points track feels...It almost feels like you have to climb a mountain at the end of the track...and all my speeds are slower then what I run at Sac.(talking about the type R of course) I average 97mph at Sac. and only get 93-95 at the most at Sears...I also get slower times at Sears....Oh well the Summit Sports Compact event is where the eclipse is gonna be back and running for once....;) see anyone out there

Sears Point or infinion(sp) is not any better with discriminating against imports. In fact more of their employees make fun of imports right to your face. They are ignorant as all hell and praise a classic mustang that hits a 16 hahaha
