hahahaha that is the best thread title ever

1)
1989-1990 240SX (S13)
1990-1993 240SX (S13)
1995-1998 240SX (S14)

All of them except the first 240s came with KA24DE engines, whereas the first ones came with Single Cam KA24E's. Not really an important factor if you plan to swap engines anyway.

2)SE is usually the way to go, you will want to try to find one with an LSD
3)Mods... umm thats up to you. Suspension is a must. Coilovers!

For the S14b(95-96.5) the VLSD was offered as a package, which included the VLSD with leather. So if the car has leather, then BAM, you got yourself a VLSD on that bad boy.

For the S14a(96.5-98) the VLSD and leather were not offered as a package. They were both optional. There should be a sticker on the pumpkin that says VLSD or you can go through the hassle of lifting the rear end up, leave the tranny in gear and spin one wheel. If the other wheel spins then you have a VLSD. I think you can check with the VIN number also, but I'm not sure.
