Someone please explain to me what drifting is.. i know that it is a stupid question and the racing world should ban me. But i have a 240 and everyone says that it is a great drifting car, so can someone explain to me how to do that also?

searh the boards or use any search engine. u'll find lots of info on it.
to put it shortly. its running through corners at the tires limits and losing grip intentionally in the rear to get it to step out and turn in more with a mix of counter-steering. wait, that explanation sounded odd.
help me out here guys, oh and just to let u know drifting to me isnt really like racing. more a show of skill rather than just going fast.

Drifting is: To turn BY the absence of traction.
If you need to know what drifting is, you shouldn't be doing it in the 1st place.

Practice in an empty parking lot or something. Someplace where you can screw up and not get in any real trouble. Just practice. There's no hard and fast drifting manual.
And don't be afraid to get a few chips and dings. Just don't overdo it if you're not entirely sure of what you're doing.
