I've had one. Sucky stock, but go kart like with some light mods. Not gonna be a highway king with it, but like I said, it's got Go Kart potential. And we all love Go karts don't we? :D

for sure...

:D

i think a lot of people see the AE86 as crap because they cant "drag" race in them very well... they arent good "drag" cars...

FFS, if you want a "drag" car, then go & buy a V8!!!!

people who know the 86 know what theyre good at... and its got nothing to do with dressing up in womens clothes (otherwise known as "drag"...:D)...

(can you tell im sorta anti-drag-racing? its just pretty fucken boring if you ask me. its a straight track for christs sake! gimme a set of bends any day of the week!!!)

if anyone wants "highway king", look no further than an FD3S or a JZA80... ;)

BTW, XiaoMing,

what engine did the Cressida come with from the factory over in the US? 7M-GE??

theres a lot of guys over here who are doing 1JZ and 2JZ conversions into MX Cressidas... sorta like a do-it-yourself Chaser or Mark II. :D

**i wasnt flaming you in my last post either, dude. cheers & beers. :D**

hehe it's all good
i'm too young for beer
too poor for ae86 (prices have been going up since initial d got popular)

the cressida came w/ a v6 na engine, my friend said his mechanic said it an old na supra engine
but since we all know how the telephone game works.. i could be very very wrong ;)

yeah, it'd be the straight 6 from the old Supra. the 7M-GE.

same as the Cressidas here...

Toyota have never had much to do with V6's...

the only one that springs to mind is the 3.0L 1FZ-FE out of the Camry etc...

if u want a good drift car , or a car to learn to drift in try to get a FC, AE86, or a 240.
you can find these cars in decent condition for under $2000.
if you look hard enough.
but also be ready to buy many new parts.
if you need help in locating a car in the bay area i can help you out.
I have found many great deals lately.
