I'm a news reporter in Everett, Wash. I'm trying to contact some of the folks who race in the Everett/Seattle/Renton area. Is there anyone on this message board who races in this area, and if so, would you be willing to talk to me for the story? Thanks.:)

But but but... street racing is illegal. I would never do anything illegal.
On a more serious note, I saw a story on Dateline about street/drag racing. They dramatized it and distorted the facts -- for example, they included a part about a guy driving 140 miles an hour with his pregnant wife in the back, but they didn't include the shots of the wife saying it was okay and that she enjoyed it. The news is all about sensationalism. Shame on you, reporters. You don't give a f**k about the facts... all you want is a good story. :(

I agree.. Reporters are just wanting a story, although.. there are some exceptions.. Give me an E-Mail at Eclipsed@mail.streetracing.org and discuss with me what you will be doing your story on, and what exactly you are wanting to say in it, maybe I or someone I know can help you out..

My stories ran on Jan. 2. You can read them at heraldnet.com. In addition, we have an online forum for people to comment, and there are plenty of responses there (all across the board). Check it out.:)

He can't be serious. Take a hike buddy. What do you think this is disney land? You can't just come strolling in here asking questions.

Actually, as you can see SHE ran the story. With a post list of a whoppin 3, I wouldn't think to find you telling her what's it is like here. Please just sit back, and learn before you run your mouth ;)
