ME.

Go to Oakland.

The "sideshow" is a good place to see black racers. They got a different style but you'll learn some good tricks in driving while your out there..

Just save your money for now and once you pick out the kind of car you want, buy the parts lol so when you do get the car it'll be fixed up the next week

You are kidding right? ROFL, does it matter what color a driver is? And here I thought that ratial sepperation was almost GONE in the racing scene. Guess it takes a 15yo not-so-racer to bring it all back. Here is an idea for you. You have no car, no license, and no clue. Listen up, get a clue, drive mom's car, get a license, do your homework and get a good car. Then learn how to drive. Once you do all of that a crew will ask you to join, or you and your friends will start one. It's not like a crew will just go... "open this week only for new members" It's not a frat, we don't rush our members. Prove yourself, then you MIGHT get in.

I understand what youre saying... there are black people in the scene. :)
But let your personality and car do the talking. There will be some people looking at you funny but the world is like that sometimes dont trip...just do your thang and the world will come to you.
Id like to see more people of diff. races in the scene... Hopfully the only race that matters is on the track!
Take care...Ill see ya out there soon. :)

Racing is probably the most diverse sport in the world (just my opinion). The news should be sheding some light on that aspect of the sport/life, it brings people together and it doesnt matter who you are, your always welcome. But just remember to give respect first in order to expect respect and dvice to the newbies, im still young myself only 20 but been in the scene since 1997, keep it safe and dont do anything stupid just watch and learn thats what I did till '99. Once you have learned the sport then you can start playing. Peace out.
