Hey i just thought it be a good idea if we had thread each week where people hear about bust news that they could post it up so things like junction don't happen again. I've already heard of like three people who had heard or found out about a bust supposed to happen friday that didn't take it serious. This isn't for people to debate or anything but if you hear any solid 411 bout busts and such in bay area, post it in here.

Great idea except for one slight little issue-
The cops read these boards. If they read that their little sting has been compromised, they'll just move it to another night or just hit another track. The best way to keep everyone informed right now is word of mouth.

We dont gotta worry about that shit in Sactown, because cops break up every race and there are no Huge busts, they just spoil our fun. I haven't been to any tracks that lasted 2 hours or more since the beginning of March. Sac suscks right now. My crew and I are on a mission to find better places in sac to run.

Races in Sacramento> MMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I've heard about races in Sacramento, but all I've seen are a couple of cars racing over & over again, and everyone else watching, a few dumb burnouts, a few near crashes because of burnouts, and a lot of dawging of each others cars. But I think warning system is a good idea, but post it night before the races, or maybe in a covered post, make them really search for that shiet.

Definitly word of mouth, like Josh said so far the cops in sac have just rolled through saying go home, then we hit another track. We really need some dude with his girl on point looking for cops with a radio in hand, I'd do it but no one (female) wants to give me head for 2 hours :(

i havnt been to a milpitas or oakland race that lasted more than 15 min or didnt end in a block in for about 5 weeks now 2 hours of racing would be a godsend to us bay area ppl

Yeah maybe this weekend warning thread thing was a bad idea but i still think, like everyone, that something's gotta be done. Anyone check out that racelegal.com place? I bet if everyone who goes to busted 15 min runs saved their gas $ for a month and put it together, we would have enough to start our own thing up here like that. My point isnt that we should try and save our money like that but my point is that we aren't organized enuff as one whole group. Maybe if we were, then we would be able to get somewhere with what we love to do rather than be shunned by the majority of society.
I just thought of something... SJ airport isn't allowed to have flights after 11pm because of noise. Anyone ask them about using a runway from 11-5am or something like that?

Has anyone ever thought of a radio scanner, my friend got one at the San Jose Flea Market, and he has a webpage full of the channel numbers for different cities Police radios. He just tunes it to that station and you can hear either car to car, or car to dispatch. I've been at his house when there were minor busts and you'd here them discussing it over the radio (calling for backup, tow trucks, etc.).

I f you get caught with a scanner in your car while at the races that is a big fine. Anyways cops don't use the radio's much anymore they communicate via the computers in their patrol car.

There are still planes that land in san jose though. Just not the big ones.

Huh? I had a scanner perm mounted in my Dart for a couple years, cops never said anything about it being illegal. (I'd listen as they ran my plates :) )

Well... If you have it on while in conjunction of a crime
(ie. Streetracing) then it becomes illegal. But you can have them in your car any other time. Sorry for the misinterpretation.

HAHAHHAAHA. .Where do I start? Ok, there's always gonna be some kind of bust out on Montague. I think most of us already established that. I give most of you warnings out at the Shell station and you still come out!! What more can I do? Drive your car home for you? I'll just post now that there will be busts every weekend, small or large. I won't be out there myself, but I've heard of big things coming up. <hint,hint> ;)

josh there was a major bust in sac two weeks ago friday, with ghetto birds and everything..if you dont know about it its hopefully because you were fortunate enough not to be there.

GR, You act like that is new information or somethin? Next time you go out there, I would be more worried about if the person standing next to you is a cop or not? That's an important thing to look out for!!! SURPRISE!!! Kinda reminds me of the Flagger jumps my partner and I did!! I know most of you heard about that! It's been a fact for last the few months that cops are out to crackdown!. . .Why do people still go there? That is what I want to know? M500 is very BLOCK-IN FRIENDLY!!

I'm not sure if this was what you were talkin about but me and the crew were out by arco on national about 2-3 weeks ago and it was crackin like hell. But as soon as we got to the track fuckin hella cars were just bouncin, then I see a fuckin helicopter shinin its light on the fuckin street and then just hella cops everywhere. We went to a gas station and there were cops posted up everywhere...i dunno if that was your bust but thats what i saw...
