the dealer wants to mark the gixxer up to 9500!!!!! man i might have to go with another yzf6, because that is some serious b.s. thanks mrhello for the help below. how does a 99 r6 for 7k sound? i paid 5 for a 98 yzf6, so 2 more for a newere r6 doesnt sound tooo bad.

9500, damn, summer time and demand.Its riding weather, so the great deals are kind of gone. But a few weeks ago I saw a r6 (a 00 i believe) going for only 5800$. A 99 for 7k is a ok price, not outrageous, but not cheap, basically market price.
Best advice I can give is just take your time, there are deals out there.
9500, thats like 1500 over msrp, not too mention + fees,madness.
