Any Bay Area begining riders wanna go cruise around? I only got 2 guys that I ride with...would like more folks. They get sick of riding everyday with me,so I think I need more freinds with bikes...haha. If anyone is down to ride (no high speed canyon runs...still learning!) lemme know!THanks...

if you're still learning...i'd highly recoomend a track day or a race school...we just had a track day at thunderhill this past monday. you can ride at your own pace...no pressure, no cops, no oil or gravel...it's pretty safe. i'd rather ride at the track vs canyons any day. we're thinking of having another track day in july. it's worth it and your learning curve increases dramatically...

That sounds like fun...isnt it rather costly though?

it depends on how you look at it i guess. i'd rather ride in a safe environment. we've ridden around the canyons and seen a lot of guys go down...and it's scary to think that you might get run over right after or even go off a cliff or something. at the track...you have none of those worries. so you're paying for piece of mind i guess. the cost is about $150-200 for the whole day (as many laps as you can handle)...and you need to have leathers or the appropriate apparel and the standard equipement. it's well worth it imho...i think the cost is worth it and the vast majority of the guys that you talk to who go out to track days will tell you the same thing...

Me and 2 of my other friends hit up Niles Canyon at least 3 times a week at night, you can cruise if you want.
