Ask and ye shall receive... or at least I'll do what I can anyway. Which is share some Power Stroke stuff. That is, if you consider "next" as super-current and probably not in indies yet. If it's "next" as in not on the road at all yet... sorry, no gots :sad4:

This is the '08 and 6.4L PowerStroke.

Cab removal is required for most involved repairs.

What would you like to see? I don't have any internal 6.4L pics. But I do have about everything else stashed away. I don't actually do diesel work, but have taken the 6.4L training.

I also grabbed some pics from a '07 sporting a prototype 6.4L in it when Ford was road testing the 6.4 before the '08 release.

Nah... problem with pics of an engine running... it always looks like its off :hehe:

I can tell you from being around them that they are whisper quiet by comparison, and get up and run.

I imagine YouTube will have something on there sometime soon. Lots of 7.3 and 6.0 stuff, only figures someone will wanna race the 6.4 too.

lol. Yep... does she belch black smoke, or just a whisper of it coming out the exhaust? From the looks of our Cust. Return parts, it's still got a fair amount of soot coming out. ALTHOUGH, that might be because it's before the soot trap (always possible).

I think the engine produces about the same amount of soot upstream of the DPF, but the DPF traps most of it before it gets out of the pipe.

They seem cleaner to me so far.... I'd have to say a whisper of it when compared to past diesels
