I am veryh happy to introduce to you guys a new member to the site. His name is Glen (GlenB) and he will be helping out with technical articles on the site. I've dedicated this small section to the site for him so if you have any questions he could possibly answer them.

Here is his bio.

I've been in the auto repair industry for 17 years and counting. At the time of writing this, I've competed 84 Ford factory training courses. That number will have increased by the time you read this.

I am an ASE re-certified master auto technician. ASE re-certified med/heavy truck technician (electrical and diesel engines). ASE re-certified service consultant. ASE re-certified alternative fuels technician (CNG,LPG,LNG), and ASE re-certified Advanced engine performance technician (L1).

I've helped write much of the Ford gasoline engine controls training text books for a national automotive training school. I am also working with that same school to help their Ford 6.0L diesel training course.

I am a driveability technician in a Ford dealership in South Carolina. Most of my work day is spent diagnosing an repairing various electronic control system faults including engine controls, transmission controls, ABS, stability assist, air bags, climate controls, lighting controls and more.

welcome glen. I have my first question for you...

Can you locate a (cheap) Pedal Position Sensor for a 1995 Chevy C/K 6.5L Turbo H.O. Diesel? Thanks. Mine's shorted out... couldn't find one for a reasonable price anywhere.

I'm a tech in a Ford dealer, can't really do much for parts on the Chevy.

Sorry ryans, but as I guessed, they don't have a listing for the part. Asked around BERU and a few other divisions here at the PTC, no spares sitting around from old prototypes.

If you give me the last 8 digits of the VIN, I can see what I can do with the local GM dealers here for a dealer to dealer discount price from them to me. Coming from the GM dealer, I wouldn't expect it to be "Cheap", even with that discount... but if you can't find one otherwise then at least I may be able to keep you from paying full dealer price on one.

I'm gonna try Rob's route first. Shot them a message, so hopefully I'll get a reply in a short.

Thanks y'all.
