H22A vs ME

H22A Turbo civic vs me.
I know a guy with an H22A Turbo Civic, gutted, racing seats harness etc. He usually has nitrous. but didnt have his bottle today. We line up, and I spin a tad on my launch. Hes ahead by like 1/2 a car, power it into second, and pull it a bit more. Hit third, and FLY by him. Now im like a car ahead of him. I hit 4th and slow, but he keeps going. I took by like 1/2 a car. That a was fun race. I am LOVING the LS1.

I know a guy who can run low 12's in a ford lighning (the stock lowered ford truck) and all he has is a little engine work and a hypertech ecu reprogramer. Its pretty tight! Imports fucking rule, but domestics can be fast. Gotta give it up for the original american muscle.

Ummmm.....the Ford F-150 SVT Lightening is far from a "stock lowered ford truck".....it might be lowered, but the BLOWN engine puts out 360hp, from its 5.4L, and can sprint from 0-60 in 5.5 sec....Also, it runs the 1/4 in 14 sec flat at 100mph!!!

Thats not even close to a run of the mill stock F-150

I think those specs are for a 99/00 Lightning...2001 is a lil quicker due to larger Mass Air Flow Meter (90mm vs. 80mm in 2000),a larger intake-air opening in the fender well,a higher flowing intake manifold,
and shorter final drive (3.73 vs 3.55 in 2000). Personally,I think its gotta be the new STOCK EURO LIGHTS on it...LOL! Great truck,BUT ALTEZZAS ON A TRUCK STOCK!?No thanks...

I think those stats you got are for the '00, cuz my Motor Trend gives the '99 360hp, along with all those other numbers i posted earlier.....I was also reading an article in this month's issue, that the '01 SVT Lightening came in with a 6.2 0-60.....MT claims that it could have been faster though.....We'll just have to see in upcoming issues....I cant wait...i love that truck....just wait till they start droping those engines into Mustangs.....LS-What?

Oh, and the Altezzas on it are uncalled for....

What I ment by "stock lowering" was that it is lowered by the factory, so the owners don't have as bad of problems with allignmet as we do as Imports, with our aftermarket lowering. But I do agree with ya. It is one fast f-ing truck straight from the factory.
