Ya how can u tell if ur rotors are wrecked?

check for warpage, heat spots, hard spots, out of round, too thin, cracked. you need tools to do it.

If you feel a vibration through out the car, and a pulse in your brake pedal, you are going to need new rotors. To prevent warpage, torque your lug nuts in sequance, and when you are doing alot of hard braking, sit still with no e-brake, or foot brake on, just let the rotors cool.

A friend told me i needed new rotors and i was just wondering if hes right or not.

A super basic test is to run your finger from the center to the edge and at the edge your finger should slide off . If there is a ridge or your brake feels like a seashell, get new rotors. And while you're at it get upgraded rotors. And I hope I don't have to say only touch the rotors while they're cool. And don't hall ass into the car wash and spray down your rotors first thing after a high speed run
