Ok... I up my budget for a commuter car to 4G.. Now I have to decide should I get a 94-95 4 Door LS Integra or a 94-95 4 door Accord Lx/EX
Accord, I think it would hold its value better than the integra, and be cheaper on insurance. I could be bassakwards though.

hands down on the accord ,what kind of engine/trans does the accord have?
The Accord is a bit bigger and will cost you the same. I love the 94 Accord before they ran the tailights over into the trunk hatch in that generation. It's my favorite Accord ever. Pretty simple pick.

it does looks good, but the salesman told me that he doesnt know when was the timing belt and water pump replaced.. Well, lets say the engine goes out later, how much will it cost me to replace it, or maybe do a transplant. What kind of engine can I put on and still be smog legal

What else should I look for? I never bought a used car before. All the cars I bought, once it reached 90K I usually trade it in or sell it.

general condition of parts at that point, suspension, brakes, clutch, fluids, tune up parts, belts. just take a look and make sure everything works good, starts/runs fine.

Well test drove the car and it runned smooth. The final price they are giving me is 4500 out the door or 4600 out the door with 3 month warranty

not bad with the 3 month... they are about 1k below kbb retail. maybe show up with 4 k cash? if not 4600 with a 3 month is great from a dealership. besure to run it through its paces and see if there any problems before that 3 months is up =)

Well my bro just called me and he said he is moving out of the country and he want to get rid off his car. I told him I'll buy it. He said just take the car and pay the balance of his credit card. he owes $4,000 dollars. He has a 98 GST with 64K miles and never been modified or raced.. Should I take this offer? I dont know much about eclipse
