this happened about a week ago, i was driving home from a party. when i got to the light, in the lane beside me a dark blue Accord 2 door model pulled up it had a loud pipe, body kit on it, i wasn't looking for a race at the moment but the guy started reving, not the reving as in play revving he was reving big time, he rolled down his window and motioned for me to roll mines down, wheni did the guy said asked if i wanted to race him from the jack in the box which we were close to to the walmart down the street, just shy of a mile. i shrugged and said yeah, i started to rev, peering out through the tinted window at the street light, once it turned green i took off with about a half car lead, once past the waffle house, i shifted to 3rd the accord following in my rearview by the time i was in 4th the accord was at least 4 cars behind. roaring past walmart i slowed down to a law abiding speed, when i stopped at the next light. the accord guy rolled past looking a little pale well it turns out his car was more show than go and thought the same about the 240 (don't judge a book by it's body kit). the light turned green and i headed home, however a few days later when i went to the mall to pick a game i preordered and was coming outta the lot i was hit from the side by a chevy tahoe,luckly i got away with some bruises and a cut the 240 however wasn't so lucky so now i'm faced with buying the car back, and transplanting the motor into another 240 or get the cash from the insurance company along with the money i got in the bank and buying a GTO, lexus SC400, lexus IS300 or something i'd like some opinions, i put alot of time and money into that car which was a father,son project. but hey better the car getting smashed up than me till next time (and car) later.
