damn damn damn! i'm still kicking myself, ohh well. let's put it this way, i got flat out owned!

i was at the bank today and going home when this bone ass stock looking crx pulls up and revs. i figured lunch meat so i revved back. ends up it's a b16 with a blower (jackson racing) attached to it. i could barely see tailights by the time he was done. i caught back up and asked him what he did and shook his hand (first real sleepy honda found around these parts).

i'm po'ed, but i'm kinda happy too.

Those CRX's and Hatchbacks can be really fast because of its small chasis and its weight. Drop a turbo or a b16a or even a b18c engine in there and u got a fast a ride!

Reminds me of this one time when my cuzin first got his jdm b16 in his crx..we were at a light and this guy and his friends were in a gsr..my cuzin car is hella broke lookin, cuz it got keyed up and smacked with a hammer all around...long story short..i was waving bye-bye to the gsr from about 3 car lengths..

crx's are bad ass...i know a guy whose got a HUGE sleeper (cept the exhaust). it's a 90 crx that's dull sh!t brown painted rolling on 14" steel rims, but he's got no interior, a b16a, exhaust, headers and NOS. he's having compression trouble right now and he still runs mid 13's. what a f*king sleeper though.....looks like a huge piece of crap.

I beat a 90's (don't know what year, i'm guessing) CRX Si with my 99 Eclipse GS stock! all i have is a 2.0L. We were going about 70-75 and i was coming up on him just i tiny bit. When i'm about 2 car lengths behind him, I hear him shift down and gun it, so i'm like "oh what the hell..." so i downshift and gain on him like he's standing still and pass him at about 90. All i know of that he has is just exhaust, but he might have more. The next day at school, i asked him if he was trying or if his car is a POS? He said he's having trouble with his tranny and his clutch is slipping. I told him that when he gets if fixed to tell me when he gets it fixed and we'll go again. But if he gets that fixed, he might beat me. CRX's are fast little son of a guns!!!!
