Yeah, I heard about it on the radio (Stern) yesterday morning, and searched the net finding nothing. It came out in the news later in the day. I figured it was drug-related. He was my 2nd fav. comedian though. I got to see him in person about a year ago... he seemed pretty f-ed up, fumbling his jokes.

i saw him in october. He showed up late, didn't remember many jokes, was incredibly disorganized and didn't really plan anything for his show. It was still kinda fun though, He's alot better in his TV Special where he actually planned his material. There's another young comedian who does the same kind of comedy but isn't whacked out on acid all the time like mitch, this guy's name is Dmitri Martin, if you liked Mitch, you'll like Dmitri Martin

So I'm guessing he really is dead now...

For a while, I heard all kinds of conflicting rumors about his death being a April Fool's day joke going awry.

I wasn't a huge fan of his material, but I found his style and delivery intriguing if nothing else. It's a shame to see someone so unique go.

Mitch was a very funny guy. I bought his CD/DVD, Mitch All Together, about 2 months ago. R.I.P. Mitch at the "Quadruple Tree".
