auto-stick conversion

i havent bought any kind of mods for a while now, been savin up all i could.

i drive a 93ztt auto. i chose the auto because theres a lot of traffic around here and didnt want the hassle i had before with a 5 speed and the car was the only turbo around for sale at the time.

my question is, can i somehow fit an "auto-stick" transmission into the car?. i've tried lookin everything up and cant find info on this type of conversion. do the 99 fairlady's in japan have those? or can i fit some other nissan trans in? and how much do u think it would cost?
and the most important thing, is it really worth it? or am i just fine the the HKS ALC i already have.

i chose this idea for the next thing to do cause i like the comfort of the auto but i really really miss the fun in racing with a 5spd. thnx if anyone finds somethin for me, peace

oh, and just a small note, i might just go for brute power like slappin on a pair of sport 600 turbos or hks ball bearing turbos, injectors, pistons, etc. =)

Not sure on the conversion. But I know of the cars with auto stick o have driven (prelude,is300,and a audi i think) They have a ridiculous lag. But if thats what you want i'm all for it. :)

hmmmm....that doesnt sound very pleasent. maybe i'll just go with plan "B" and just up the horses & torque. u know what yea, thats what i'm gonna do, the hell with the auto-stick. well thnx anyway man, peace

you CAN get a custom valve body and linkage setup to use a manuel shifter on an auto. But WHY? this itself wont help shifting at all, just use your shifter to manual shift
