Last night I had the opportunity to ride in the 05 sti, my friend is on his second one due to a untimely accident. We were on the freeway doing a typical haul, and powered up to 155, I thought he was going to let off because there was a turn coming up. Now this turn wasn’t too bad for 135 or so, but at 155 it makes it kind of hairy. The turn was entered, and all the sudden a bit of over steer came into play. No tires could have helped this over steer, so I informed the driver just lay in it and turn where you want to go. We were too deep into the turn to augment the situation, which made for a hell of a ride. Immediately there was a left hander coming up, and I would have figured that after the previous fiasco the throttle would have been lifted........ Hell naw we were balls to the walls again. if this car didn’t have the outrageous wing it has on it, and the totally functional bumper this would have ended up in a bad way.
