I got a 95' Integra GSR and my speedometer is tweaking!
My needle is like 10mph faster than what the speed I am really going. I went through a few of those posts where cops put out a post to let you know what speed you are traveling at. I went through the post a few times and most of the times I was like 10mph slower than what my speedometer is telling me.
Anyone knows what the problem is or how to fix it? Thx
If so, then you should get your speedometer recaliberated.....Your speedometer goes by the number of RPMs your car is doing, and what gear and all that, so if you have larger(or smaller) diameter wheels, the calibration will be off, because you will be covering more ground(or less w/ smaller dia.) at the same # of RPMs....I hope i explained it ok....That happened with me, and i just live with it.....mine is about 4mph off, so if im cruising at 69mph on the speedometer, its really 65mph....just live with it....its a lot simpler
Peace:D

speedomatar? whats a speedomatar? Ohh.. you mean that thing on my dashboard that always points to 250km/h? Ohh.. I never looked at that thing much...
hahaha.. just joking. I drive very safely and sensiable on the streets. You should too, thats is why you should fix your speedomatar.. I mean speedometer.

Hmmm, 4mph off I wouldn't mind but 10mph off is a little too much for me. Like when I'm on the freeway doing 70mph, my speedometer says 80mph and my needle is like past halfway of my gauge.
Any idea of how much calibrating the needle costs and where I can get it done at?
