i was driving down the street when a cop stopped me and was giving me a ticket for my front plate on my civic but i bought the car like that and in fact it had a front that was never put on but when my car got stolen the dudes took my plate i reported it to the dmv and they said that as long as it is in a report it is no problem now i have to take care of this thing by the first and the dmv is lagging on getting my stuff to me and i have to go to court and pay this ticket. let me know what to do

If you only have one plate you go to the DMV and have them issue you a new set after your surrender the plate you have now, it costs about $15 if memory serves and it takes about 5 minutes to do.

ok so i will relinquish teh old plates and get a new plate number and then show the paperwork to the court and it is all good eh? good stuff.

Well what you have to do is pay a $10 processing fee to the clerk at the courthouse but that's it, alot better than the other option.

yeah buddy my thoughts exactly, i haddent got a ticket in 6 years i always run from cops lol if they do blurp me but i bought this car for my girl and if they remember it i didnt want her to have to go through that lol and i just got a dumb ticket like that so it wasnt too bad.

lol you arent lying i went today after i got all the stuf and there was a line out the doori will send it in fuck that.

Why not just see if you can make an appointment?

- Yeah I guess I'm lucky; I waited maybe 5 minutes max when I went to get it done, but then again I went first thing in the morning too.

I need an officers or someone who knows the law. At work we sell plates that replace the front license plate with a Mercedes emblem. I warn the customers that it is illegal to drive without a front plate. What is the current violation now? How much does it cost and what type of violation is it?

it still is a $10 fix it ticket. i had a guy come in who had a 4th gen SL (129) who needed the front bracket to mount the plate cause he got pulled over.

yeah dude just a fixit ticket. i went to a cop and he didnt even bother to ask for the car or paper work to verify. it is only 10 bucks , off in the mail today.
