i have a fields sfc-vtec controller for my 2000 integra gsr..i have a 95 ecu...my problem is that sometimes when im on the road by car starts to jerk slightly and when i put it in neutral it dies. when i turn the controller off its all good...so i dunno if its the fuel codes or if i have to tap the battery again to reset the codes...im stuck like chuck so any helpful feedback would be greatly appreciated..thanks alot for the help..peace

A lot of hassle with those controllers. They can really mess up your codes with a wrong settin....one of them blew out my friends Fuses....

another thing...when the controller is off when i start the car it sounds like its about to die again and the engine check light comes on...so i dont know if theres something wrong with the fuel delivery or what...the settings on the sfc is 0 for all rpm...

Take it out, before it too late MAN! It will **** you up, and most likely your car..get rid of it....pretty much worthless....go with a Apexi..little more Reliable

it's like court said...some break...

but when they work..they work good.

been running mine for a year now...no problems at all...how long have you been running yours and what are your fuel settings at?

i dunno if this matters..but i took my car in to acura for service this past friday....i took off the controller to be safe...it started acting up wheni put the controller back on after the service....just another footnote....

hmm...if you disconnected it..u'd be throwing cel's....

maybe acura saw this and jacked your car up trying to fix it....

plug your field back in...turn it on, and follow the ecu reset procedures...maybe your car just needs to relearn the ecu being manipulated by the field unit...

does your field show your RPM correctly rite now?
