It doesn't look all too good. (Tried to race me in the rain?)

Maybe because it was a V6, but it didn't do anything for me. It just looked bland.

But, supposedly Roush is getting 430 hp out of a blown one, so we'll see.

Opinions?

Saw one going down 680 (or was it 280...) i knew it was an '05 stang, but it doesn't really look like an eye catcher

They're all over the place around here. You can't find one at a dealer's lot.

They really are nice looking cars in person. Especially in black or white...

This might start of a Muscle Vs. Import ... Charger , Camaro .. Nissan Skyline GT-R35, Supra are planning to release around 07 and 08 ... This could stir up something big but we will see ... those stang sure cuaght my eye though ... Must be the 69 look ... Speaking of 69 the Camaro will release it late 06 or early 07 with the same 69 look ...

Drive one, then say it dosen't do anything for you. I autocrossed two of them (one with the stock Pirellis and one with BFG KDs) in Las Vegas and the thing surprised the hell out of me. It felt just as nimble as the 350Z. The only thing I didnt like about it was the shifter...felt kinda sloppy.

saw the yellow fastback..looked ok. Looks really good in the pics...maybe its the silver that stands out.

I see them every day as there is a dealership down the road from my office, they look good for a nostalgia design but I can't get over the dumpy/ugly ass end, the concept was 10x better.

Well, I know it will be a fun car, I just don't want to over expect. But 350z?
Thats got me thinking.

I'd take the 350Z over the Mustang. I like the Z more. Dont like the new stang.

But I'd take an 03 cobra over BOTH of those, in a heartbeat.

I don't know about "in a heartbeat", but the Cobra would probably end up with my vote on sheer power alone.

Precisely why I'd take it in a heartbeat! Im an HP junkie.

As am I, but there is something to be said for a nice interior...as I 'm learning the hard way.

Yes, this is true. That is why a classy beater is a MUST.

Lingenfelter TT the bitch.

WAY too much money to sink into a car. Totally unjustifiable. Having had a "40k" Taurus sho, I will never make that mistake again. A procharger is only 5k, compared to something crazy like 18k for the stage one TT setup. Besides, I like centrifugal blowers. Easier to meter the power, and less chance of hitting full boost mid corner and bye bye car.

Although a TT would be absolutely bonkers.............:D

Nah, 5k procharger, and if and when the engine lets go (I got the huge headers, so even the low boost will result in something like 500-570rwhp depending on the tune), I can get a forged stock CI shortblock for 3500, or a 383 for 6k if I really wanted to go to town. But thats still a ways away.
