This is what the 2002 Mustang should look like...a few sketches:

looks kinda like a cross between the new stang and the old fastbacks...

That's pretty tight looking, maybe if they shortened the rear end a little. other than that if they drop in a 5.0 as the power plant, oh shit, it would be of the hook. maybe if they added the boss hoods, or even made a few boss mustangs again, that would be sick brink back the boss 302, 351, and the monster 429, if they did a redesign of the boss mustang, i would sell my life for one if they looked tight.

I think that the new and old dont go together that well..if your gonna get a fast back get an original one i think they look hell of alot better then a new gt. in my opinon i dont think they look that good i wish they would have kept the 96-98 body style a little longer

Well to be honest with you...I hated the hell out of the 99+ body styles, but they start growing on you, and now I own a 2k GT...so I just think that we just have to get used to seeing these things around. I would give it a couple of years and these mustangs will be a fan favorite.
P.S of course u do realize that this is just a concept sketch, the real 2002 mustang may or may not look like this. But this artist rendered the 99+ models before they came out and it was dead on.
you can stretch out the back alil more, add a bed.. and bam!
u have a el camustang-o!

I think the Ford version would be the Ranchustang(Ranchero/Mustang), just to keep it in the Blue Oval Family...lates

I know what you mean man. I just learned to like it also. Still love them models before that tho.
The picture also reminds me of the ol' fast backs. I was rolling in MILIPITAS a month ago to my fiancee's cousins house. He said his next door nieghbor had a bad ass ol' skool stang that he wanted to show me. His dumb witted with stangs, so we knocked on his door and his nieghbor (who was good peoples) popped his garage. Underneath his car covers was a White with Blue racing stripe GT500 Shelby. I was like OH SHIT!!!!! Paint was sun baked, meats on the rear were bald and the motor was a lil tired. But fucker sound nice still. Oh yeah, his interior is flawless tho. His said he got big plans for the ride. Wished i could of rode in it, but he said the motor was tired.

Old & the New. In a strange way it just might work.
Looking foward to seeing what "under the hood" changes Ford will make on this model.

well.. a 454 is a 7.4 liter so a 455 is probably 7.4 or 7.5 liters
