For $50,000 there are alot of better choices on the market, for every need. There's very few cars I'd pay $50,000 brand new, let alone $50,000 for an 8 year old car.

Just remember, it's 8 years of wear and tear you'd be buying.

The guy owns 20 planes, mostly for NFL players and private shit like that. He's buying me an acura 1996, i just dont know what type cuz my mother didnt ask. Make sure it's in your name, then do some research to figure out what you want (unless you like under-powered, over-priced) and sell/trade the nsx to get what you want.

Lol no, there is no 50 g's to spend, thats just how he paid for the car, for all i know maybe there are add ons to it, who knows. He's giving me that car just to help me out with my whole practicing driving a car thing, since i am only 17. Plus it'd be a reliable car, the car we have now is some piece of crap mitsubishi, i dont even know what type, but its crap. A toyota engine i think.. v6 or something? the car is probably like 4,000 so.. yeah.

Hell, if he gave me 50 g's to spend on a car, i wouldnt be spending it on a damn NSX. He told my mom that he was going to give me that car because he was planning on getting a Mercedes. I hate luxury (whatever you spell it) cars anyways but yeah, if i am allowed to sell my NSX, ill def buy a better, faster car. When i am allowed? You guys will have to give me ideas on what car i should get and ill check them out. Id probably only get about 40 k out of that car, hopefully higher.

I also hate having a car, without any add ons like an intake or a supercharger, so that would be part of the 40 or 50g, whatever i can make out of it. When i get the car ill take pictures of the car too. See what you guys can tell by whats under the hood too. Im no expert.

No, only because im 17 doesnt mean i dont have any skills or not know how to go fast, many kids my age street race and they're very good at it, thing is, i have no reason to go fast because i dont do street racing, i wouldnt anyway not with some NSX. To me, street racing would be only for adrenaline rush, not money. If i was to streetrace id get a GTO or something or whatever and fix that up.

Anyways, the insurance and everything that comes with the car, even if a crash or whatever, is well paid for.

I mean good intentions but to be honest, somoene with a gold name just means he may have more access to this bored, thats it, no more no less, doesnt mean he's one of the best, doesnt mean he's very good, ####, ive been an admin of over 10 boards in my life, doesnt mean #### in my eyes, just a computer guy trying to achieve the fame status and wanting to be in control of nothing by being a moderator, or admin, or whatever he is.

Im confused? How/why are you getting this car? Did you parents just tell you that your car cost 50k but didnt want to tell you what kind of car it was? And as much as you dont want to hear it....chances are you CAN'T drive very good. I llived on a farm and beat on vehicles all my teenage life, but I've never been to a track and I know that my driving abilities are probably slighly above average at best. Dont try and be a hero, that kind of shit gets you killed. As much as I sound like a grandpa saying this, a car like that is NOT a toy unless you have some serious skills to keep yourself outta trouble.
