Mainstream Productions, along with Shine Street, presents SpeedZone SHOWOFF to be held at SpeedZone in the City of Industry on May 20th, 2001. Renowned as the first and original car show, SHOWOFF pushes the boundaries of originality to a whole new territory. While providing eye candy of hundreds of finely polished show cars, we also plan to satisfy your need for speed with the many exciting rides SpeedZone has to offer.
ZONE 1: SHOWOFF CONCOURSE
See hundreds of show cars, including all the new debuts and top champions always featured at SHOWOFF!
ZONE 2: RACE TRACKS
Get behind the wheel and race your friends (or your enemies) on many of SpeedZone’s tracks!
Top Eliminator Dragster – These 300 HP dragsters take you from 0-70 in 3 seconds! (5ft height requirement)
Grand Prix – Race head to head or against the clock in these customized scale F-1 Racers! (valid drivers license required)
Slick Trax – Mix a polished driving surface, slick-tired racers, and 15 drivers. The Result? A Wild Ride! (5ft height requirement)
Turbo Track – Test your driving skills on one of the heart pounding F-50’s or bring a friend and race in a two-seat sidewinder car! (5ft height requirement)
ZONE 3: ELECTRIC ALLEY
Play over 150 of the fastest racing and action arcade games.
ZONE 4: SPEEDWAY GOLF
Race your way thru the twist and turns this race-themed 36-hole miniature golf course has to offer.
ZONE 5: SPEEDWAY CAFÉ
Whatever you’re craving for, find it at the SpeedZone Café and bar. So relax with an ice cold drink, grab a quick snack, or enjoy a delicious meal.
With every paid competition fee, each contestant gets $35 credit towards SpeedZone and a free entry into the “Dare to be Different” competition. Brought to you by D3 Designs, the winner of the “Dare to be Different” award will get a free car show entry and exclusive display at the VIC “Very Important Car” booth for the next SHOWOFF, a plaque showing your achievement, and most importantly, models just for your car!!!
