You know, I never really realized you can run 12s in a Honda and be utterly clueless about things like this.

Installing a bypass valve on a naturally aspirated engine is utterly pointless. The only thing a bypass valve does is relieve built-up pressure. They are useful in supercharged applications, if the blower is mounted upstream of the throttle, and in turbocharged cars. Other than that, it will do nothing for you. That "koo sound" is extra pressure in the intake tract being released into the air. No matter what you do, you will never have extra pressure in your intake tract to release if your car is naturally aspirated.

He's probably looking for that APC thing that is supposed to sound like a BOV.

Sure, you can put a blow-off valve on an intake. You can even put THREE of them on there if you want.

Please see my post above yours as to why you wouldn't bother doing so.

I've actually done something like this before...but i welded the BOV to my headers....HELLA LOUDER! gained 11 peak hp at 13,400 rpms...sweeeet!
