So, I had just finished the oil change thing that happened yesterday and found out the pan wasnt damaged as I thought. So I took the 944 out for a spin and As I near an intersection this new honda comes out of nowhere. http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Now Im ussually the calm type and have only raced one of these guys back when the 944 wasnt turbocharged yet.....and lost. But today I was feeling good about the oil thing and had never really pushed the 944 on the street. Now I dont know what this honda had under the hood but It was NOT rice. There was not ONE sign of modification. Not a wing...a sticker..or anything.
I revv back just a little indicating im up for a run. Light turns green and we both punch it. I pulled ahead because he must have been distracted with taking his foot off the gas before he killed his engine http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/images/smilies/tongue.gif
now understand. My 944 is running 18 LB.s of boost. It is VERY fast. I haven't dynoed it yet but I'm geussing 290 rwhp. I pull in front of this guy easy as cake. I hit redline and shift...doing about 30 now in under 3 sec. and hes on my tail. 60-70-80 mph. when I hit 100 and about to let up since I had obviusly beaten him.
I hear him...engine sounding like some freakish monster. and he zooms past me doing ATLEAST 130..........I think to myself...wow. and then. before I can accept my defeat I hear a LOUD bang and a plume of smoke just shoooots! out of the honda. he killed his engine. Iv'e slowed down to about 40 now and he pulls off to the side and gets out. I make a move to pul in behind him to be friendly WHEN HE THROWS A ROCK OFF THE GROUND AT MY CAR!!! http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/graemlins/cussing.gif http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/graemlins/cussing.gif http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/graemlins/cussing.gif It hit my car and cracked the windshield all to hell. SO I pulled over as fast as I could and got out. This guy was a scrawny punk. He was crying and had another rock in his hand WHICH HE THREW AT ME AND MISSED!! hit my car AGAIN! and screwed up my hood and bounced onto the windsheild...again!
So I take off after him and he jumps up and I still cant believe this...Kicks me...right in the chest. Im a BIG guy. And he wasnt. It almost knocked me down but definantly left me breathless. But I didnt leave him anytime to kick again. I decked him in the gut pretty hard and he slammed against his car. So I start to leave. Kicking his plastic rear panel In as I go.
Gotcha! this didn't really happen to me, but someone posted the same story over on the Porsche board and pissed off hella people :angel:. I thought it was funny as hell.
