Hey, couple weeks ago i posted a check engine post, now i figure out the problem, it was my map sensor, i bought a new one and replaced it. couple days later the check engine light came back and it was the same prob "map sensor" Does anyone have any ideas was could be causing the problem? all i'm thinking it was a defective map sensor i bought from honda. can anyon help...thanks :holla:

Check to make sure you don't have a bad connector/break in the wiring. I'm not sure how they're plumbed on Hondas, but if it has a vac hose connection (as opposed to being screwed into the manifold directly) check that too to make sure it's not obstructed or leaking.

first off you need to tell us what kinda setup you are running, because if you are running something like a piggyback afc that taps into the map sensor there could be several other problems other then the ones png already listed.

The car is completeyt stock, and has been for the last 2 years. It did have a apex safc back in 1999, but after a month i took it off. I even check the ecu wiring to see if anything was loose, and everything is in tact. I'm hoppung it just a defectice map sensor...hey ninja does your shop check out circuits? pm me back

Hi everyone, i've been threw 2 map sensors which are brand new, and its still throwing off the same code, and CEL, code it be a possible short where engine wiring harness??? any suggestions????? :holla:
