well are you going for drag or autocross? if your just going drag then a h22a is good, it cost around 3500 for a good deal, the b18c is around the same price cause the demand for b18c are high and the demand for h22a is very low, or you can go with a b16a for like 2500

This is true, but you are gonna spend a good deal of $$$ getting the swap done, as the H22a is alot bigger than the stock 1.6L....I have heard upwards of $5k, just getting the motor installed, but dont quote me on that....just another thing to think about.......I'd go with the B18C1(GSR)....its the best overall performance engine of them all....followed closely by the B16a...

But...do what ever you want...your the one who has to drive it:)

the swap will cost about 3500-4k yes, and you hit a 13.5 all day, n/a with intake header exhaust.
however this is not just a swap and call it a day type thing.
the next 1k goes to suspension. the prelude motor is very low, so the car cant be dump, and neuspeed race on stock shocks dont cut it.
gc's with a nice 5 ways, tock or koni, and a BEEFY rear sway. 22mm+

If you only want 13's/14's all motor just stay with your d15 and save money over a gsr, lude, type R swap. SLO is right, aFter its all said and done h22 swaps are costly and require a lot of custom work. You don't need a DOHC swap for 13's or even 12's NA.

Buy a 150 shot nos kit and thats it... DOnt expect your engine to hold up for long though

Go gsr motor. Like everyone else said...the prelude is cheaper...but the labor is more...since it's custom work. Then you have to upgrade the suspension. I think you would be happy with a gsr motor.
