Listen, the following countries will NeV4 L005E!!!Ahem, they will never be taken over:
Russia
China
United States of America
England
Germany
Russia
Canada
(?) North Korea (?) maybe?
What do these countries all have in common? They have the capability for mass destruction (how ironic) through the use of nuclear weapons. Mass as in they-can-single-handedly-wipe-out-the-world-if-need-be mass. Because of this a superpower pretty much means "I have the ability to destroy the world; dont fucking invade me." When people say they want an anarchy in America I just shake my head and wonder if they understand the reamifications of a true anarchy in ANY of the above countries. Simply put there are over 1k active nukes in those countries and if they fall victim to another Hitler, Stalin, or anyone who leads for their own gains after a revolution then we are ALL fucked. If you want a better look at how fragile the nuclear policy of the world is then read/watch Sum of all Fears.
Nope; we'll be fine.
Will China take over the world?
Nope, not until they can project power globally. I give them another 15-20 years.
Now, that being said, Look for them and India to become powerhouse nations over the next decade, influencing the global markets more and more as they educate and industrialize their massive populations.
How many Chinese are studying to become engineers this year....?
Invest bitches. Make some money.
Investing in emerging global markets is one of todays most profit potential ventures.
Be careful guys China is kind of propping the US up right now with their economy. They are one of the biggest importers of US made steel as of this writing. The steel industry was all but dead until not too long ago...many companies were killed off thru it. What would happen today if we forced a trade embargo on China? Walmart for one would be seriously hurting...many other retailers as well. Japans economy is stronger than it has been in what 10 years now? Thanks to China. China also has had its eyes set on Taiwan ..they have been practicing mock invasions on both sides for some time now. If they try and take out Taiwans leadership in a "beheading move" similar to what the US did in Bagdad, then what? Will the US stand by and watch? Food for thought. The Chinese have studied our military maneuver and rehearsed it recently. I dunno, Taiwan supplies an awful lot of electronics to the rest of the world.

Higher Demand
Oil prices have rallied 43 percent this year as expanding economies boosted demand in the U.S. and China, which account for a third of global crude oil consumption, according to the International Energy Agency.
Here ya go. Read this report and take note of the date :eek6: . Then take a look around the world and see if its not going down that road.
