When I start my car, it shakes violently for a couple seconds then goes away, kinda sounds like a deep rumble. When I pull away slowly TONS of white smoke comes out my exhaust and starts to smell like burnt coolent? Is this the head gasket? If so, how did this most likly happen? How mjch will is cost to fix? What exactly is a head gasket? I know the Quad 4 HO is known for blowing head gaskets. PLz help :smoke2:

The head gasket is what seals the headgasket to the block. Its probably the headgasket. It'll cost about $150 in parts to fix. Dont keep driving it unless you want to warp the head/block, or possibly crack them.

And by dont drive it, i mean dont drive it AT ALL. Dont start it, dont drive it, dont pimp it, etc. Dont even drive it to get fixed. Either fix it yourself, or have it TOWED, not driven to a shop.

Explosions!
Probably weak stock gasket material and/or a very thin area between a water passage and a combustion chamber.
