Are you only doin a head swap? there is no TDC mark. You have to figure it out. There are only two choices anyways, and if you know how to adjust valves, it doesn't matter at all. If you need info, IM me mista240z . I know a bit about lt1s.

yo mista240... after all this time of fighting with this damn car... i think it has won and i might need your help after all.

got the heads on, everything back together and trying to start it up. it cranks, and we have even got it started once or twice... the valves need to be adjusted for sure... but now it wont even start up. the starter is spinning and engages sometimes but not always. is this motor an interferance fit? i know we got the timing chain in right and since it started up a couple times i think its safe to say the distributor is in right. argggg this thing is driving me crazy!!!

Umm, dunno. Sounds like you didn't adjust the valves correctly, Hopefully you didn't bend any. I would loosen and re-adjust all the vavles first. (After making sure you have spark and fuel of course..
